Georgians have very good faith with Orthodox Christianity for centuries together! Minority Muslims are there in most parts of the country without any remarkable leaders!
Many Christian Missionaries from developed countries have their representatives in Georgia to spread the biblical way of Christianity as an substitute of Orthodox Christianity!
The presence of "Jehovah Witness" is in Georgia, who claim that they are oppressed by the Fanatic Orthodox Christians, but the present situation is OK as EU has intervened into that matter!
Minority Muslims also think that the Government is not neutral when its comes to funding the religious institutions like allotting a place for mosque or funds to construct a mosque etc.
The remarkable Muslim organization which works for Peace among different faiths and the one that has strong hold in most of the European countries, The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaath, which has its worldwide leader Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, who leads this global community that is now established in 204 countries with millions of members worldwide; has no presence in Georgia!
There is a split among the Georgian Muslims as SUNNI AND SHIITE; where the Sunni Muslims are more oriented with Turkey and Shiite Muslims towards Iran. Hopefully the fortune of Georgian Muslims may start when Georgia becomes a part of the EU!
